Performs cardiac procedures and treatments by assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing tasks. Performs highly technical procedures and tasks on sophisticated equipment. Promotes teamwork, inter- and intra-departmentally, and maintains positive communication skills.
Must be a graduate of an accredited program; Current HealthCare Provider CPR is required; 2 years of hospital Cardiology experience required, 5 preferred; Echo and Vascular registries through either ARDMS or CCI required (RDCS (adult or pedi), RVT, RCS, RVS; Pediatric Echo experience required; Shifts start at 6:30 a.m. and are staggered through the day to cover through 6:30 p.m. (Must be willing to work any shift between those hours) Rotating Saturdays are expected from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. On-call is required and is rotated with one day per week and one weekend per month, but it’s been more lately due to the increased volume. Experience with Philips Xcelera PACS system would be preferred and must be able to compile an accurate structured report for physician’s review; Must also be able to perform other Non-Invasive Cardiology procedures including ECG, Holter, PVR and patient transport.
Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 available. Sign on bonus of $3,000/2 year commitment (1/2 paid at start and other ½ at 12 months).
