Heart and Vascular Imaging Services Manager Bookmark and Share
The manager of the Heart & Vascular Imaging department is responsible for the coordination, direction, implementation, evaluation and operational management of personnel and services. This person also participates in strategic planning and the setting of future direction in conjunction with the Heart & Vascular Imaging Administrative Committee. The manager coordinates the activities of a multidisciplinary team to include a combination of RN's, CNA's, x-ray techs, surg. techs and CV techs. This role directly supervises a total of 36 FTE's with the assistance of a supervisor.

The Heart and Vascular Imaging department is made up of four sections and they include: Diagnostic & Interventional Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, Peripheral Vascular and Outpatient Prep & Hold. We provide the full spectrum of standard & state-of the-art procedures in each section (percutaneous AAA, Impella, PFO closure, valvuloplasty, A Fib. ablation, etc.). The Heart & Vascular Imaging area provides an average of 8100 exams annually. The department currently consists of 3 Cath Suites, 1 EP Lab and 3 Vascular Imaging Suites (1 of these is set up as a Hybrid OR).

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in healthcare (i.e. Nursing, Radiology, CVT, etc.) is required. A nursing degree is beneficial.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in which progressive administrative and leadership abilities have been demonstrated.
  • Two years of supervisory/management experience is preferred.
  • Direct management experience in Cath Lab/Special Procedures is preferred, we will also consider candidates with a Critical Care background.
  • Current licensure/certification is required (i.e. Nursing, Radiology, CVT, etc.).
